LG has announced plans to launch its new LG Q6 smartphone in the market starting this week, starting in South Korea.
The South Korean company announced LGQ6 on July 11 as the mini-version of its flagship smartphone, the LG G6, launched earlier this year.
"The LG Q6 is part of the new Q series, the first smartphone to offer the full-screen after the LG G6," LG said when it announced the phone.
LG is the latest in a series of powerful, mid-sized smartphones. The new series includes three phones: Q6, Q6 + and Q6α, which differ from each other in terms of RAM and internal storage space.
The Q6 + offers 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage space. The Q6 offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of memory. Q6α offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
The new Q-series is the first after LG G6 in the introduction of a thin-edged screen with a ratio of 18: 9, and comes in a measure of 5.5 inches and a resolution of 2160 × 1080 Bcsla.
For the rest of the specifications, the new Q6, which comes in 8.1mm thick and weighs 149 grams, is equipped with a Qualcomm Snappadragon 435 plus a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
The phone has a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-end camera. The device supports 4G networks and NFC technology.
In terms of software, Q6 runs version 7.1.1 "Noga" from the Android operating system of Google, it supports face recognition feature, comes with Google AdSense Assistant.
LG plans to launch this week in South Korea, which will soon be launched in key markets in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas in the coming weeks. The company has indicated that the price and date of the launch of the phone will be announced by each market.
